Getting involved at HEART

From volunteering on reception to performing on stage,  there are plenty of ways to be part of what makes HEART special

Volunteering

Would you like to play an active part in HEART? Volunteering with us is a chance to support your local community, learn new skills, and be part of a warm and growing team.

We have opportunities in reception, marketing, arts and music programming, gardening, and more.

What would I be doing?

All volunteers commit to a minimum of one 4-hour reception shift per month. Beyond that, we aim to be as flexible as possible depending on what you'd like to get involved with.

Do I need any qualifications?

No — our volunteers come from all walks of life. You just need to be friendly, reliable, and over 16.

Will I get training?

Reception training is done through a buddy system until you're confident on your own. Our volunteer coordinator will support you throughout your time with us.
