Serious Sam Barrett is a hard touring, folk and country singer/songwriter from Otley, West Yorkshire. Playing honest, heartfelt self penned and traditional songs on 12 string guitar and banjo. Sam began performing in and around Leeds in 2004, with word spreading further afield with the release of his 2009 debut album Close To Home. Performing at SXSW in Austin, Texas in 2010, he has toured the US widely, usually in the company of friends and fellow skaters The Pine Hill Haints. BUY TICKETS
Hazjak were formed in 2018 bringing together Steve Chapman Smith a respected singer songwriter and performer who has released three solo albums over the last 6 years and Lynne O’Malley one third of the highly acclaimed a capella trio Yan Tan Tether and frequent singer with Henry Priestman. TUESDAY NIGHT LIVE: LONAN are a new Yorkshire-based folk trio who perform a mixture of traditional and original material. The band is made up of accomplished and versatile musicians, whose other projects currently include The Often Herd (Winners of the European band contest – La Roche Bluegrass Festival 2018), klezmer band Kibitz, and the genre-crossing Ben Somers String Band. TUESDAY NIGHT LIVE: Influenced by the sounds of 1960’s folk guitar, progressive rock and modal jazz, Henry Parker creates a modern sound from these archaic influences, writing songs that lyrically entwine landscapes, people and politics. Traditional folk music contributes strongly to his sound, whilst a distinctive finger-picked guitar style calls to mind players as diverse as Bert Jansch and Bill Frisell. BUY TICKETS
