Tuesday Night Live – THE AFTER HOURS Quintet has been thrilling audiences of all shapes and sizes, at festivals and fetes across the whole of Europe, with their red-hot jazz styles, since 2012. With a tantalisingly authentic repertoire spanning over a hundred years (1900–2018) the band display an almost ubiquitous appeal; bringing the sounds of the jazz age to life while re-imagining modern material to sound – as swinging as any Speakeasy!

“An atmosphere to match the speakeasy venues of American jazz in it’s hayday”

York Mix’ review of The Importance of Being Earnest: ‘The whole play is punctuated by the beautiful live vintage jazz of The After Hours Quintet. Ranging from Nat King Cole to Cab Calloway and Django Reinhardt, the music creates a rich sensorial dialogue … unforgettable.’

Suggested donations of £3-£5, but no one turned away for lack of funds.

We have live music in Assembly Bar + Kitchen every Tuesday night from 8pm – 10.15pm approx. ABK closes at 10.30pm
