SOUNDBITES – Monthly Poetry Open Mic
We present a published guest poet each month – this month we’re delighted to welcome NABEELA AHMED
Nabeela is a writer, poet, story teller and spoken word artist. Her poetry is in three languages: English, Urdu and Pahari. She has shared her work at Open Mic events across Yorkshire and has been the Headline Act at various venues. She self-published her book, Despite our Differences, in 2018 and it is available on Amazon. Nabeela was the main feature for Keighley Arts and Film Festival this year, her poetry manuscript was longlisted by Verve Poetry Press and her work has been published in several anthologies and publications in three languages in England, America, Pakistan and India. She is currently working on her novel, collection of short stories and always her poetry.
This is a great way to keep sharing poetry and to keep Soundbites in peoples’ minds.
It will also help us to be ready to start again when the time is right.
This cannot happen without you so please support us!
Thanks and good wishes from the Soundbites Team
Cate, Barbara, Jackie, Myrna and Howard.
