SOUNDBITES – Monthly Poetry Open Mic Event – on Zoom.
The guest poet this month is Howard Benn
Howard Benn was born in the last millennium. At exactly the same moment, Polly the Parrot was born in Milton Keynes, New Guinea. Howard has appeared in several anthologies and gate-crashed Headingley LitFest. Meanwhile, Polly the Parrot has published ten volumes of poetry, won the Pulitzer Prize, and her memoir ‘How to Suck Seed’
is due out next year. Polly wasn’t available for tonight’s event, but wishes Howard all the best.
