Following a fun filled day last summer, Wonder Day returns to HEART on Saturday 28th July with a day of free activities, workshops and fun for all ages. Dress up as your favourite superhero/ superheroines for your chance to win a prize!
Here’s what you can do:
Breathe and Be – Yoga for kids
Energetic yoga games that include… yoga poses, drama, teamwork and lots of fun! Ages up to 6-10 yrs old. 12.30 – 1.00 / 1.30 – 2.00. (Maximum 15 at each session. To be booked in advance)
Sunshine and Smiles
Sign and Sing! 30 minute sessions at 11.30am and 2.30pm. Ages up to 6/7. (Maximum of 10 children at each session) Drop-in
Ronnie the Rhino
Come and test out your rugby skills with the inflatable skill zone! 12-4. Drop-in. Any age
Coding in Collage with Leeds Libraries
Create your own intergalactic collage scene, then bring it to life with sound effects using Scratch coding and Makey Makey. Plus, find out more about this year’s interstellar Summer Reading Challenge! 12-4 Drop-in. Ages 5 and over
Fun with Physics!
Explore physics the exciting way, by trying out simple and fun science experiments. Let Marvin and Milo, the Institute of Physics intrepid cat and dog team, guide you through many fantastically cool experiments that you can then do at home to amaze your family and friends. 12-3 Drop-in. Ages 5 and over
A mix of crafts and games, we will be making things such as instruments or origami creatures. 1-2.30. Drop-in. Ages 5 and over.

Then join us in the hall from 4-6 pm for a family friendly disco. Tickets for the Disco on sale now – adults £2, kids £1. Please note that Wonder Day is free of charge, the disco only is ticketed!
