HEADINGLEY SOCIAL

An evening of good company, vinyl and live music in the HEART of the community. Italian street food and vinyl selection by Salvo’s.

It’s the Headingley Social – bring your friends, meet new people – come and enjoy an evening of good food, good music and good company. Gip’ll be spinning the vinyl, there’s live music and of course in the Assembly Bar + Kitchen, some fabulous Italian street food by Salvo’s – all in the heart of the community.

Leeds rocker Johnny Storm has been playing rock n roll since 1977, over 800 gigs including support for bands such as Rockpile (Dave Edmunds & Nick Lowe), Darts, Carl Perkins, Matchbox and Geno Washington.
In 1979 & 1980, Johnny appeared with Shakin’ Stevens in two series of Jack Good’s Oh Boy. In late 1980, Johnny auditioned for the job as rhythm guitarist for Bill Haley and The Comets and was indeed successful, only for Bill Haley to sadly pass away in February 1981.
Join us for a night of rock n roll including songs by Johnny Burnette, Eddie Cochran, Billy Fury and Elvis.

Gip and the band will be performing in the Shire Oak room. Pay as you can.
