Come and celebrate the language of Spain with some marvellous food and a fabulous film – The Motorcycle Diaries – a 2004 biopic about the journey taken in 1952 by Alberto Granado and 23 year old Ernesto Guevara, who several years later would become known to the world as the revolutionary Che Guevara. The film is both a road movie and a coming of age film, as it recounts the journey taken by Guevara and his friend across South America. Guevara finds himself transformed after witnessing the lives of the impoverished indigenous people and shows how the seeds were sewn that led Guevara to his chosen path.
