The Race

Based on the incredible true story of Jesse Owens, the legendary athletic superstar whose quest to become the greatest track and field athlete in history thrusts him on to the world stage of the 1936 Olympics, where he faces off against Adolf Hitler’s vision of Aryan supremacy. An enthralling film about courage, determination, tolerance and friendship.

Films start at 8.00pm and tickets are available on the door from 7.30pm on screening nights and are priced as follows: £6 (standard); £5 (concessions); £4 (members).

Membership is still just £10 per year and can be taken out on any screening night – just ask a committee member.
